The exhibition is titled “Ariadne's Thread”, a reference both to the labyrinthine space designed to house it and to the symbolic meaning of the textile as a labyrinth-like network of threads, laboriously woven to achieve the desired design.

Labyrinths are universal symbols present in all cultures, mysterious constructions that are only revealed to those who hold the keys to their secrets, like enigmas that must be deciphered.
